I've been thinkin'...(you've been THINKIN'?!)

Last night something (borrowing Smee's words) "struck my brain" and I haven't been able to shake the strike:

 First, some things to consider:

1. Greece's lamentably crappy financial situation has caused the value of the Euro to rapidly decline.
2.The decline of the Euro's value has the (rest) of the European Union terribly miffed.
3. The American dollar has increased in value since the big fat Greek financial fiasco.

As I consider these facts I can't help but wonder if the United States and its political buddies had something (if not everything) to do with the current financial situation in Greece...as we well know, the American government has little to no reservations about meddling in the affairs of other countries- especially when said meddling could further American interests.

Any takers?
